Xiaoms’s future in Nepal

about brand than Indian customer”
Xiaomi, a Chinese company founded in April 6, 2010 by LEI
JUN and his business friend. Privately owned company, world’s 3rd largest smartphone
distribute and first in china. At Xiaomi, they've brought together smart people from Google, Kingsoft, Microsoft, Motorola, Yahoo, and other Internet and tech companies from around the world to bring that vision to life.
Xiaomi announced Xiaomi Mi 1as their
first smartphone in August 2011. Mi 1
becomes successful in china. After one year in August 2012 Xiaomi introduced Mi
2 in market, Mi 2 becomes key player in smartphone market. By the date of
September 2013 company sold over 10 million Mi2 devices, it shows how a new
company with good products changed the whole mobile phone market. Xiaomi has
world class hardware and software on their phones. Again Xioami launched Mi 3 in September 2013,
it created another story of success in Xiaomi’s favorer. Xiaomi was new for
customers but customers were increasing day by day, hours by hours because of
its design, hardware, software and more important its price. Xiaomi is selling
high class phones in middle prices range, Xiaomi using online marketing to limit
the cost of products. Xiaomi sold over 60 million smartphones in 2014. Xiaomi
is planning to go globally. Like Xiaomi says “always believe that something
wonderful about to happen” they did wonderful work to reach this level where
they are now, they made wonderful happen.

Nepal, market with less customer but filled with technology
lover. There are various mobile companies in nepali market. But Xiaomi will be
new for nepali customer if they lunch in Nepal. There is no information about
it but let’s hope they lunch soon and nepali customer will like Xiaomi, which
is becoming famous globally. Key factors of Xiaomi are its price and feature.
In Nepal, price and feature really matters along with brand name. Since Xiaomi
is new, it will take time to get trust of nepali customer. Another problem will
be its marketing policy, online marketing. Nepali customers never experienced
about online marketing and it will time to setup network around Nepal. There is
remarkable numbers of customers who use high class smartphones in Nepal, as
well used high class used smartphone. People who can’t buy brand new high class
smartphone, they go for used phones they are cheaper than the new one. But
Xiaomi selling their high class phone in middle range which means customer who
can’t afford other company’s new phone no need to go for
used phone they can get new xiaomi’s smartphone in same price range as used
phone’s. Xiaomi’s phones are now comparing with iPhone and Samsung’s high class
phone because they all are same in feature and specification but some customers
think that Xiaomi’s phones are better in deign than others. Even specification
and feature same, price of Xiaomi’s phones are really cheaper than iPhones and
Samsung’s phones.

Xiaomi is doing great not only in the fields of
smartphone but also in MiPad, Mitv and many more electronic goods. Nepali
commuters are waiting for Xiaomi to be lunched in Nepal. Nepal will be tough
market for Xiaomi but let wish Xiaomi will get victory other smartphones in
Nepal too.
